Every time I think my HomePod minis are good I’m corrected by my full sized stereo HomePods OG. Being us the bigens!

All of these are minor updates. Would like to see some new bright colors for the HomePod mini. As for the iPad Pro, it will be great if the 256 and 512GB versions have higher RAM than M4 models.

I’d be interested in new AirTags: my wife and children got separated from me in London near Buckingham Palace earlier in the year-it was absolutely heaving with people. My wife had her keys on her with attached AirTag, but when I tried to locate them all it let me down. Kept referencing a place we were at half an hour before and couldn’t find her. Works well most of the time, but when I needed it to, just didn’t work.

I’m also interested in a new ATV. Not fussed about a camera, but I’m on the 4th Gen model (from release) and it’s starting to get a bit clunky with Netflix and Disney etc-plus I’m fed up with the remote 😂

I use a Google TV 4k, it's pretty old now but works perfectly - what's better about an Apple TV?
You’re not spending TV processing power. A separate device is always better allowing all of the TVs processing power to handle the image.

I’m having a hard time imagining what an M4 or M5 Vision Pro that doesn’t change anything else would be useful for. Any features taking advantage of it would be leaving out the existing install base, so they’d have to be inessential nice-to-haves that wouldn’t be worth upgrading for and wouldn’t address the shortcomings keeping new users away.

Edit: I guess some sort of enterprise usage that seems to have caught on? Could be there’s some applications on that front that could take advantage of it, but I have a hard time imagining anything on the consumer side that would target a fraction of an already small user base and not piss existing users off.
It needs to be updated because it needs to be updated. Charging $3500 for something with an M2 chip in 2025 is ridiculous. Plus this is a brand new platform with a ton of space to grow. The more power the better. It’s not a product that has peaked like an iPhone or an Apple Watch.
