how likely do you guys think apple next macbook will be bezel less with a notch on top?
The reason i ask because the home button was iconic for iphones. Now the notch is going to be the next iconic thing differentiating a apple phone from another phone.

A laptop and a phone are not the same thing... The notch on the phone is present due to the technological limitations of the device, it's quite an elegant solution to a problem in that there is no chin to the device, look at all other 'bezeless' devices. Limitations exist, people design solutions.

As to the MacBook, I doubt it very highly, bezeless makes it extremely susceptible to damage on the corners, there are a multitude of product design reasons why it isn't suitable. So no, highly unlikely, FaceID will possibly come to the MacBook eventually but not for a long time, tech needs to get smaller and much cheaper - on a computer it really isn't as necessary and it wouldn't sell a device when adding $200 to the price.

Making a screen bezel less isn't as easy as people sometimes seem to think. I actually would love an even smaller footprint for the MacBook Pro, and I'd expect smaller bezels for the next redesign (in 2020, probably). Not sure at what point it's possible to build a notebook without bezels that doesn't compromise elsewhere (like the webcam position on Dell's XPS).
