What about ATT stores? Will they have their stock refreshed?

I hate my local Apple store. It's in a mall and even on non event days it's always full of people and impossible to walk around in.

So... now BGR is reputable again? How easy it is for people on this forum to dismiss them(or sites in general) as not credible when it's bad news... and then credible again when it's good news is just astonishing.

Well, if I remember correctly, they haven't been wrong yet, whether it was good or bad news.

great! i'm headed over to the mall right now and going to ask the Apple Store if they know anymore about this and if they can reserve me a white iPhone 4. Wish me luck! :)

I applaud your confidence, but I don't think you are going to be satisfied by the people at The Apple Store. I don't think they are going to reserve one for you. But best of luck, I hope I am wrong.

That's my point. When they brought bad news, floods of people came in and said BGR is over, going down, blah blah blah. Remember the Steve Jobs email and how people claimed it to be a fabrication after Apple PR denied it? I for one, believe BGR because they've been right for as long as I can remember.

Now that it's good news, it's all graaaaavy.

ZOMG antennagate has caused sales to tank and Apple is trying to lock in all those back orders before they get cold feat!

Or maybe they got a large supply of parts and Foxconn has been pumping them out.

I don't usualy post rumors and some user that know me can attest to that BUT

A friend of mine ordered an iPhone 4 and has the typical "ships in three weeks" message. However, he has been checking out every store, every day for new shipments. He told me today at work that several Apple stores advised him to put his name on a priority list because they expect those to be filled very quickly over the next several days. Seems to line up with what this report is saying.

Like I said, take it with a grain of salt. I don't pretend to know anyone in the industry beyond what I hear locally.

Edit: BTW this is in south Florida

Just got back from the alderwood apple store here in washington. I asked when they think a buyer could just walk in and buy a unit. He told me they are not doing the priority list anymore and could not add me to the current list. He also told me to come back Monday morning and I should be able to buy an iPhone 4. He did tell me to call first to make sure the shipment has come in. I told him that would be great and i could cancel my order that is slated to ship Aug 10th. He then warned me to watch my order and make sure I could cancel on Monday as they might be shipping it early.

Lol im not sure if he is full of it or what. Just thought I would share my experience today at the apple store.

Sounds to me like Apple is doing away with priority lists. Probably because they've either ramped up production or they just don't want to deal with the hassle anymore.

nah those were from Droid trolls...they seem to be dwindling now that they realize its really a non issue.

Yes. Clearly everyone who posted negatively was a Droid troll.

Do you even read what you type before you hit "submit reply?"

Just got back from the Boca Raton Apple Store and there was a small line. Apparently, they got a shipment of iPhone 4s but only for those who had reservations. BUT... no white iPhone 4s and the best response I got was "end of July". Bumper thingy starts tomorrow, so it's possible white iPhone 4 might launch at the same time, we can only HOPE

Just picked up my iphone 4. Great stuff, no antenna issue or proximity issue :)

There were a TON of people picking up their iphone 4's as well.
