I'm not sure why they wouldn't put all the bands out on the shelves, or maybe they just got a shipment that day. But if you don't see what you want in the store, it may be a good idea to ask.

Our store is the same way. I'm guessing they've decided to keep the higher-priced (i.e., non Sport) bands locked away.

Where do you live? I called an Apple Store in my area, and all they have are sport bands.

Question: Do you not like the sport bands? I think the white one looks nice with all but the dressiest clothing. Maybe you should pick up one of those until you can find a ML in a store?

The sport band on a SS watch looks much different than on a the aluminum. I think it's because the SS is shiny and it looks dressier overall.

This might be a good way to see if you like the 42 case because it's pretty easy to snag a 42 sport band right now. If you hate it with the sport band on, then you'll probably hate it with any of the others.

It's worth a shot, Teach. :)

Thanks, I will have to do this on the weekend.

The 38mm SS leather band was snug. I purchasef a white band. I was shocked at how good it looked with a blue shorts, red polo

I got a message yesterday, they are doing a band exchange so I can get the Milanese Loop, but it won't ship till July.#

Well that is good news that they'll do the exchange. If you're swayed towards keeping the 42mm you might try looking for a 3rd party band that will hold you over until the milanese ships that's not as masculine looking as the leather loop. There are tons of them now on amazon for pretty cheap and with actual pictures of the fit and finish here on the forum you might be able to find one that will work for you that actually looks pretty good when attached to the watch.

Thanks, I have been looking at third party watches.

Haven't found a third party band yet that I like. Hope more will come out.
