Big difference between Current and Last Gen?

Just to make me feel better about having an outdated aluminum iMac (2.8ghz, 4gb ram, 750gb hd) I have a question. 😀

My question is how much of a speed boost will the new 3.06 ghz one be compared to a maxed out old 2.8ghz one?
