We recently purchased a new car with an iPod input and own a 120gb iPod classic and a 32gb iPod Touch.

We are finding that the touch sends far far louder music to the car system. With the Classic, we turn the volume on the iPod and the car stereo right up and would still like it louder.

I have turned the limiter off completely on the Classic, is there anything else I can do to increase its output level? It seems fine though headphones.

Many Thanks

If you're using the headphone jack I can't help you. You really need to use the data port to get the most out of any iPod, at least in my experience. If your car system doesn't have a USB port, Sendstation makes a couple of adapters that will get you there.
