big trouble with sony sr11 and idvd 09

I try to burn from imovie09 to idvd with terrible results.
Everything looks good on imovie but the dvd is pixelated like crazy and the moire effects are horrible.
I checked compatibility of the camera with imovie09 and no problem.
I can burn from imovie to idvd using my sony fx-1 with great results.
Any ideas would be MORE than appreciated!

Explain how you are importing into iMovie? I import from my SR11 and my HMC 150 and don't have this problem. Or, what settings are you recording on your SR11?
