If the price was the same, would you rather have a 500 GB (vs. 320GB) and 2.53 GHz (vs. 2.4 GHz) or a Hi-Res (glossy) screen?

Me? The higher resolution. Because I will benefit from that ever time I use the computer. The bigger hard drive does nothing at all for me until I reach the point that I would have filled the smaller one (and for me personally, 320GB is more than enough space). And the faster processor isn't really enough to notice, or enough to matter in most scenarios. But I'll always notice and appreciate more screen real estate.

I swear, this question comes up every day. Just browse down little bit and you'll see.

    For the record, HiRes.

Most people on this forum agree the 2.53Ghz and 500GB upgrade is overpriced and not worth it. Please look at some other threads on this topic, i.e. http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=972149

    Hi-res all the way.

btw who is in charge of stickying stuff? I swear I have said we need a sticky on the 2.4Ghz vs 2.53Ghz vs. i7 topic.

    moar processor (= moar VRAM :) )

not gonna happen. Mods of this section like it nice, tidy, and repetitive.

He is deciding between 2.4Ghz and 2.53Ghz, which have the same 256MB VRAM.

    Yeah appears that way :(
