Hope he has something but he's been talking out his rear end for a long time now with nothing to show for.

Well, wecan only hope its either a booteom for a5+ devices, or a way to downgrade, or maybe even a jailbreak for ios 6.1.3, 6.1.4, AND ios 7.0. Lets wait and see if he is talking cap, or if he really has something.

    Any firmware on any iPhone.

How cool to run 5.0 on an iP5?

Think it has something to do with ticket signing. Possibile that he's found a way to sign tickets and allow downgrades. Not sure if that's bigger than a jailbreak through...

Something like that could be corrected by Apple within hours though.
If he found an Apt ticket bug and a way to exploit it all Apple has to do is patch it on their end via iTunes verification.
That doesn't sound like something bigger than a JB but who knows what he has or even if he has anything.

AppleJuiced -- Since when has p0sixninja not be a reliable contributor? Sure, chronicdev always suffered from a tendency to over promise, but there's no doubt Josh has skills and has contributed extensively to jailbreaks in the past.

Not sure, I hear lots of people doubting him a lot online but whatever it is I really hope he does have something for us.
I'm keeping the faith for now:D

Everyone here with the exception of a few are just talking about easy ways to jailbreak. Think bigger than jailbreak!

Clearly p0sixninja isn't the only drama queen with the pretentious, self aggrandizing, 'think bigger than jaillbreak!' nonsense. I guarantee whatever it is will set a new standard for underwhelming.

Over the last few years I've learned not to speculate anything and just wait for the best, regarding the JB community.

I really hope that will be something bigger than a jailbreak, as he claims to be but I seriously doubt it will be anything at all. Or maybe just another stupid hack/tweak/whatever related to weather. haha

Correct but they didn't kick him out of the dream team for nothing and the shatter row before that.

I'll give him the benefit of the doubt, for now...

    I can wish ;)

I believe the iOS install utility independent of iTunes would classify as illegal territory. It might not but I can imagine apple filing a lawsuit towards it (that's what they did with jailbreaking a while back)
