I don't know... I thought all of your "busts" were actually decent. Yeah, some of the ideas are developing still, but I wouldn't consider them a waste of time.
Now this one, I have to agree on.
Ping was a complete success... People signed up and after 10 minutes they got bored and never went back again.
I would actually use it if it had FaceBook integration and you could recommend apps to friends, etc.
but...... it got GAME CENTER !!! Another bust.
I think they should work on the real things instead of trying to fill their os with useless stuff.
same but the problem is it doesn't! Maybe they will update it sometime with those features but after it's first failure I'm not sure people will give it a second chance.
The Beatles (not Beattles) has been a huge success. What criteria are you using to determines busts?
His own opinion. Which means none of them are busts, depending on how you look at it.

The Beatles ON ITUNES ..... is not.
Maybe financially its been a succes but in 95% of people 's mind ( percentage can be argued) its a total fail.
Only a small percent experienced the problem. I would consider this to only be a 'small' bust.

I wish they would stop focusing so much on gimicks and put in some stuuf that adds to productivity and usefulness such as putting the date and not just the time at the top. How i hate having to hit home to look at the Calendar. Also, how about an LED email indicator, etc. etc.etc. And most of all, how about a "Delete All" from the Trash folder!
Good points made but this is Apple were taking about. Updates and upgrades are spoon fed at a rate steve jobs sees fit.
