I like big phones/phablets.

What is biggest you have owned?

Mine has to be Samsung galaxy mega 6.8"

awesome phone at the time.

Currently have a mate 9 with 5.9" screen.

June next year is upgrade time and looking for big screen devices.
I am not opposed to moving to IOS from android.

Currently on the V30 with a 6" screen, and I'm loving it :). But it doesn't feel like old school 6" display, it's overall size is smaller them most 5.5" phones

Owned an Xperia Z Ultra (6.4” display) very briefly. IIRC, I was hoping to use it as a single device to replace both a phone and tablet. While I liked the hardware, it was a bit too big for my use as a phone at the time and the camera really wasn’t very good (no flash). I may have had some cellular compatibility issues too since had to import an International version with no US availability.

Galaxy Note II was 5.5", Galaxy Note 4 and Galaxy S6 edge+ (current) are both 5.7". Happy Android user!

LG V20 - 5.7"
Note 3 - 5.7"
S7 edge - 5.5"

I call roll with phablet size but thinking of going back to compact phones.

Oneplus 3 with 5.5" screen. For me phones that are physically larger than about 75mm in width are just awkward to hold and difficult to operate with one hand. The OP3 is borderline difficult at times too and I already use on-screen buttons on it to push them up so they are easier to reach than the capacitive ones at the bottom.

I'll probably go with something smaller when the only options start to be these 18:9 phones as reaching those bottom and top areas just gets too annoying.

I had the Xiaomi Mi Max (6.44") for a few months as a mini tablet but definitely didn't use as my daily driver. So not sure if it counts for this thread :)

Outside of that, the Note 8 has been the largest screen device I've owned. But a bit too tall for my tastes. I've settled on the Pixel 2 XL which has the perfect in hand feel IMO.

I'm not a fan of big phones. The last, and only time I had one was Galaxy Note 3 or 4.

Apart from that, I've never had a phone with screen size above 5.2"

There was never a Galaxy Mega 6.8, there was a 5.8 and 6.3.

Anyway, largest I have owned is:

1. Galaxy Note8 - 6.3inch
2. Galaxy Note 4 - 5.7inch
3. Galaxy S7 Edge - 5.5inch

I feel like the Xperia Z Ultra came way before it's time and Sony had no idea who they were aiming it at, lol.

If they brought a 6.4inch high end Xperia now, they'd have quite the device to compete against Samsung, Huawei and LG in the >6inch device category.

Would love to see a 6.4inch Xperia with 4K HDR Display.

Had that too, as well as the OG Mi Mix. Slightly bigger was the Huawei Mediapad X1 at 7.0”. Great for the time, especially with a 5,000mAh battery which I did reverse charging. Used it as a daily for about six x months despite it being 104mm wide and meant taking phone calls looked truly ridiculous.

Unfortunately if one does that, they will not get the caliber of a phone the flagships are. I cannot really think of a compact phone that can compete with the ones you listed.

The trend is big, no way round it unless one just wants mid level quality.

Indeed I did not notice my typo of screen size of the mega.

6.3" indeed not 6.8" I should have proof read it before submitting.

It is still biggest phone I had though lol

5.5 - 6/6s/7/8+

HTC one M7 got me liking big screens with its 4.7, and the nexus 5 just continued the trend to the 5’ before I switched to the 6+.

Would love a bigger screen than my 8+ but I wasn’t a fan of android or the current X.

I had the mega 6.3 and oddly enough despite the low specs was one of my favourite phones the screen was huge

I do regret selling to my brother.

but the low specs was making it a bit laggy for everyday use as time went on.
