We are currently using google checkout to handle our recursive billing (hosting and monthly payments towards site-build fee) for our clients. This has become a PITA. Manually emailing invoices, processing them, and tracking each step of the way has become time prohibitive.

What do you guys use?

I'm looking at FirstEdge/AccountEdge from Acclivity (formerly MYOB). Do any of you fine folks use either of these products, know of them (pros/cons), or have alternatives?

Thanks!!!:)

Another Billings user here. It's missing some features I'd like to see, but it's the best of the apps I've tried and I've been happy using it for over 3 years now.

@Alphakline

Really liking the looks/functionality of Billings. How do you handle payment processing?

I finish the project/slips and the price in the project section turns blue to click. You then create a invoice to where you can print/email/save. This places you on the "account" side and you can add payments delete and restore slips etc.

I love it. You can also create/customize your own invoice/statement templates. I also use the iphone app and works great on the go. Only issue I have is the iphone app doesn't sync your custom made invoices and only has 3 default ones from the main application. Other than that it's a great pair!

Thanks for the input!

Billings looks rad. I'm looking for a little more of a management system where I can manage billing, banking, and credit card processing all in one.

FirstEdge has an integrated solution but the monthly fees and transaction fees seem a little steep. I'm still looking.

Thanks again for the help guys!! :D

I use dolibarr. Its more than a billing software a complete erp/crm solution that fits in my needs. Give it a toss.
