Just an advise: don't try to use Binverse (software to download high volume files)! It is not made for Mac (even though they say: "You may use a MAC specific newsreader with the Binverse Usenet service.") and is not worth it. The support service is slow and when you realize you are stuck with a 1 year payment and no way to get a reimbursement!!

first I have to say that I've tested the 14 days trial several month ago with my old WinXP notebook and it worked fine for me. Of course you should remember to cancel during the first two weeks if you don't want wo pay for it! It can get a nasty surprise if you forget that...

Yes, they don't have a own newsreader software for a mac, but you can use almost any other usenet software which runs on mac computers. So you can sign up with binverse and put your binverse account information into another newsreader and it should work fine. ;)
