Bit of help needed please??

I have run disk utility and it says i need to make a minor repair..

But the repair button is not highlighted..

You cannot repair the disk that you booted from. Boot from your startup CD and then run disk utility to repair.

ok cheers, what key is it i need to hold down to boot from disc?

Press and hold the "C" key.

I think it's C. Or hold down option to get a chooser screen for all bootable volumes.
