bite sms question...

i love this app, use it all the time.
but when i click on a contact (thru my phone contact list), and select "text message", apple's default text app opens.

any way to "force" bite sms to open when i do this?

click settings (top right corner, looks like a cog)
scroll down and turn default sms to on

yeah, i already HAVE that on...
just surprised.
maybe i'll try switching it off then on again (or something)...

I fixed this by adding “com.apple.AddressBookUI” in biteSMSsb.plist
Edit the file at /Library/MobileSubstrate/DynamicLibraries/biteSMSsb.plist

Mine does too. 5.0 beta

I'm hosing 5.0 and it opens the bitesms when I go through the contacts and click text message.

Hope they fix this on the next update cause I was noticing the same.
I fixed this by adding “com.apple.AddressBookUI” in biteSMSsb.plist
Edit the file at /Library/MobileSubstrate/DynamicLibraries/biteSMSsb.plist

Here is the content of my biteSMSsb.plist file as installed by the package:

Filter = {Bundles = ("com.apple.springboard", "com.apple.AddressBookUI", "com.spiritoflogic", "com.ismart.dialer", "com.snapturelabs.Snapture", "com.guidedways.Groups", "com.facebook.Facebook", "com.ismart.dialer");};

I am running biteSMS 5.0 beta 2.

If you had the Facebook problem from a few weeks ago and installed the plist file that fixed that issue, you may have created this problem.

Me too.
For some reason it never worked for me thru contacts unless I manually SSH and edit that file.
And I never had the facebook or any other problem or fix prior.
Weird.

Start digging through some of the new stuff now that you have the beta. Custom SMS ringtones made me VERY happy. 😀

I've been running it since I first jailbroke around the 16th. Zero problems. Come on in, the water's fine! 😀
