I notice a lag when quick composing or quick replying from the lockscreen... Other than that it works fine. I am running Bitesms 6.1 on an iPhone 4 5.0.1

I've noticed lag in the app in the last week. Scrolling through the list of people and selecting a person has a delay now. I'm hoping they release an update soon to address it.

I get lag when I open the app. It stays at a blank sms list for little bit then when the list loads I can scroll for maybe .5 seconds then it freezes again.

Urg....now I am also getting it..6.2.7 ios 5.0.1

lagging only at the contact/messages list...to the point that scrolling is super jerky and clicking on conversation does not register....

QR/QC no lag...

I think this is best posted on their forum, but I share your anxiety!

Yea I think this has something to do with it. I have texts in there from 2009. I don't want to delete them though.

upgrade to the latest beta 9.
beta 8 which was released yesterday fixed the lag issue.

I am on 6.1 and I have lag too. I do not see the updated version in Cydia.
