Bitesms popup not working?

Anyone else experiencing issues with bitesms popups? The messaging works fine but it vibrates and just doesn't show up on the lock or home screen - i have to launch the app to see the message 🙁

You didn't accidentally turn off SMS Alerts in sbsettings did you ?
