iPod touch Bittorent does not do anything

Ok so for a long time i have known about bittorent. It has always been there whenever I tried to download anything it would always be a torrent. I have downloaded bittorent around 10 times over the years and have always got the same error. It just doesn't do anything! I download bittorent and I download my torrent then I open it with bittorent and... Nothing! it says looking for firewall or something like that. It has just never worked. I have tried many different sites and I have left it on all night to see if anything would happen. Please help I want to download a video of my relatives christmas for my ipod touch and my uncle has put it in a torrent! Please help!

Try a more advanced client, like Transmission, which advertises itself as "It just works."

ye i just downloaded a video off of bittorrent and when i try to open it using itunes nothing happens. not usre if it needs to be in a diff format. bittorrent works for my music not sure why its not working now

Hmm it says 0 out of 567 mb and it's not doing anything.

Never mind it's working fine now. It's just really really slow. Thanks slot for the help!
