So I have a 2013 MBA. I bought it new three years ago. For the last week, my computer has had a mind of its own. I know this sounds crazy. The following has happened randomly:

My Facebook changed to French Language when I set my computer down for a few seconds.

Browser window and history is popping up without my opening it.

I know this sounds like perhaps someone could be messing with it when I'm out of the room, but there's no one in the house at the time.

So my question is, is there some kind of virus or something that could allow someone to control my computer remotely? I only use it at home, and haven't been on an unsecured connection. I also have sophos antivirus. I know this sounds crazy, I just don't know what's going on.

Not likely what has happened to you, but ...
I once saw the cursor moving around my iMac screen as if possessed. I thought virus/attacker etc.
Lo & behold my daughter had borrowed my Bluetooth mouse and was trying to use it in another room!

Does it do any of this stuff when you've disabled it's wifi connection? If it still does it when the wifi is disabled, you can at least rule out someone remotely accessing it.
