I've had a 16gig Wi-Fi for a couple of days. This morning the top right quarter of the screen became really unresponsive, but only in Safari. Pinch to zoom wouldn't work, and general swiping and tapping was randomly responsive. All other apps were working fine. I rebooted it and it seems OK now.

Anyone else come across anything like this? Just a glitch and nothing to worry about?

Well, it's done it multiple times now, so it's going back tomorrow. Hope I get a better one second time round.

My "End Call" button on my iPhone touch screen seems not to be working at all. Odd. I have to press the lock button to end a call.

Well the issue has got even more bizarre. After spending some time on the phone with AppleCare we tried various things, restoring and adding back apps and stuff, and after much trial and error discovered that one website is causing the top right of my touchscreen to jam up.

I can do a complete restore, navigate to loads of websites with no problem, and then navigate to www.cricinfo.com only for it to jam up the top right quarter of the screen. However, it didn't do it to the AppleCare rep's iPad.

Waiting on a further email from Apple engineers. Weird.

Just tried it. Mine isn't responsive in the top right hand corner of that webpage either. Oddly, if you hold it in landscape that part is responsive but the new top left isn't.

That's exactly what mine does, and then when I navigate to new web pages the same area stays jammed up. The only way to fix it is to reboot the iPad.

Anyone else finding this? If it's happening for some iPads and not others, does that suggest different batches are affected? The AppleCare rep seemed to think the engineers would be interested.

I have 64gb wifi iPad and it's doing the same thing. But my touchscreen is unresponsive in the top right instead of top left. And same as others, only in Safari. I tried going to same sites using Safari and Atomic, Safari is unresponsive and Atomic works fine.

That's funny, it's happened to me before though I forget which website - I would just go somewhere else and forget about it. So I never worried too much. Glad you brought this up though.
