Black AirPods?

Think they will ever release some or should I just get the pros now? I sold my first gen AirPods already. I think Apple will stay with white because they are noticed for them.

If you just want the case coloured, there are plenty of skins/wraps options on Amazon/Ebay.

Not sure what the point is of doing the case though...you'd want the AirPods themselves coloured instead.

Correct. I want the actual pods black. I just mentioned the case bc I want to protect them and nomad makes good stuff. Color ware paints them but it’s like $200 on top of the price

Colorware is ridiculous with their pricing...

Yeah. It’s like 480 for the AirPods plus color. The inside of the case is still white too.

I suppose we'll get AirPods in black or some other color when they decide to push out a new version that has little to offer in comparison to the earlier model. Airpods 2 offered wireless charging and better battery life compared to Airpods 1, and the Pros offered a redesign and ANC. Apple spreads the new stuff out so they always have something to offer. They'll debut black Airpods (probably at an increased price) at some point when they've implemented everything they wanted in the devices so the color will be the new selling point.
I suppose they're holding off on this so long as the current Airpods models are selling well.

I just wonder what Apple's CMF team does every day. I mean, they have so few products, and there is not even that much variation in colors in most of their product lines😂

Every Apple product outside fo their accessories has more than one colour option except the Mac Pro.
