Black Aluminum MacBook?

I'm sure eventually we might see some of these. Maybe 2 yrs? For me tho, I LOVE the current aluminum look. ...and this thing has to last me 4 yrs~till dental school is over

I don't think it will change much for the next 5 years.
I have been thinking the exact same thing since I saw the black iPod nanos. The surface looks really nice it would go with the Al Macbook's black keyboard and screen bezel.
Too much black? The black macbooks came out nice and I think the new ones would probably look better if they were made of black aluminum instead of the two-tone stuff they have now.
Personally, I wish Apple offered more color options. Look at Dell and all the colors they offer for no extra money. I would love it if you could get a black aluminum MB, or in any colors of the new Nanos at no extra cost. Except for red, I much prefer the look of the red in the third gen nanos.
I don't like the two-tone look either. If it's too much black, they could go back to a translucent bronze keyboard like the Pismo.
I'm a terrible photoshop user, but anyway, here's my take on it:
You see? That doesn't look all that bad, all it needs is a little more expertise in the Photoshop department (no offense, it's a good effort, it's just a little rough) and it would look really good.

I would sell my brand new Alu MacBook and take up to a $300 loss on it if it meant that I could buy one in black. I really like the design and color scheme on the current model but a black out version would be amazing. Just looking at that photoshop version makes me drool. It looks rough, mean, and beautiful all at the same time. Imagine an all black Alu MacBook with keys that light up. Amazing!

decent Photoshop job..I had been asking myself if we would see a black version ever since the first alu rumors..I really couldn't predict Apple keeping the white one..
for the ones saying it's too black, come on now, was the old Pro too silver? the blackbook too black? recent ipods too black? old macbooks and iBooks too white? sure,in a unique way only apple could, at that time, create..
I don't see a lot of aluminum laptops around, same goes for black aluminum..
We probably just have to wait for someone to have the guts to try his luck dying one himself, it's easier than with the old plasticbooks or for some Colorware works..

That's really funny, I'm glad someone said such basic logic in a rather funny way.
You know, if there was a black aluminum Macbook or MBP, I'd order one. The black aluminum look is awesome. I mean, sure it loses its luster a bit in real life than in renderings, like the new MB renderings on Apple's site, but still it would look good no doubt.
