Are you kidding? Just make the colors not so disgustingly pastel and they would be great. Make them darker and finally Apple would be out of the one color regression in its history. What happened to the multicolored Macs? Not the iMacs, but the laptops would look great in different colors, as long as they weren't that bright.
Well, they're a little better, but what I meant was black, forest green, deep ruby red, navy/midnight blue, colors like that. If the MB's had a color scheme like that (at no extra cost, I should add) they would be so sweet. Of course, they wouldn't really be good again until they put Firewire back in them.
These are a bit less pastel coloured.
Personally I'd buy the last one in a heartbeat.

When we just had the black and white MacBooks, there were many many threads of buyers agonising over which colour to choose... imagine the amount of agony if the number of colours grew!
That said, it took me a week to decide which iPod Shuffle colour I wanted.

Colored macbooks would look pretty cheesy in my opinion. I'd be more of a fan of all black. I like black white and silver for my electronics please!

True. Probably asking what color to get would just get your thread closed, since it really has no bearing on the kind of computer.
I'm with the guy that said Apple should be like Dell color wise... I like to personalize my things without doing it myself...

Yay for someone agreeing with me! Honestly, I just don't understand why Apple doesn't offer this choice when the technology is clearly available and not anymore expensive (definitely not $200 more expensive, which you know is the premium you would have to pay if Apple ever did this).
I just thought of something: iPod, iPhone, MacBook/Pro, iMacs all on the new iPod Nano color scheme! They could have a special: Buy a MacBook, get a iPod of the same color for only $99!

I would totally go for that orange (or maybe that blue) if the MBP were offered in multiple colors (because I actually use firewire *sadface*).
