I may be crazy but I've just noticed that there is a black bezel area surrounding the screen. I could've sworn that this wasn't here before.

Before, I'm certain that the bottom of my dock touched the white plastic surface of my Macbook. Now, there is a black area separating the dock from the white. This goes for the top where the menu bar is as well

Am I just crazy today? Has it always been like this?

Running Leopard 10.5.1 on a 2.2 Macbook if it matters at all

Pixels never go completely to the edge of an LCD screen. There's always a small gap with no pixels.

You're not crazy. My MB has been like this since June 2006.

I have never seen a screen where the pixels went to the edge of the screen, although the ones on the Macbook get pretty close.

Yeah, they sure do get very close

Any chance of them moving at all? I didn't change the resolution or anything at all. It just seems weird to me

I did however change the wallpaper which I guess is probably the reason for this. I guess the wallpaper that I was using took my eyes away from the edges of the screen

But now changing it back, I still notice the black bezel

Anyway, I guess I have my answer :)

    Thanks guys

It's normal, hell, even the iPhone has a black border!
