The black cloth that came with my MacBook is great! It even has a little Apple logo on it! :D

It removes all of the marks on my screen and on the cover with ease- I only use it when the computer is off, though.

It seems like the cloth is only included in the most recent Macbook refresh.

When i bought mine in March last year, there was no cloth at all. HAd to reply on my spectacle cloth to clean up the screen.

I've used mine but it wont get rid of the horrible smudges on the screen:(

You might want to try dampening the cloth a little. Or breathe on the screen first, then wiping it.

If I'm not mistaken, Apple included the cloth since the Santa Rosa update in November 2007.

And if the smudges are so stuck that this won't even help, it's time to bring in the wonder stuff™: iClean or similar products especially made for laptop screens...

wait what?

Wait are you guys serious? It felt a little too thick to me for using it as a wipe cloth... This little black cloth has been my SPECIAL EDITION BLACK MACBOOK PRO MOUSEPAD for the past 3 months... :(

Wow. This thread is from March... it's now July.

The OP's question has already been answered multiple times. No need to un-bury it.

But yes, I agree, it's slightly thick but it works great on the MacBook's GLOSSY screen.
