Black Flash on Screen

About a week after installing Lion my screen on my MacBook Pro has started flashing black every few minutes. Does anyone know if this is an issue with Lion or maybe my video card. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
 
I would think it might be the video card, but do a fresh install of Lionel, and see if it persists.
