Amazon's discounts, in particular, can be very volatile and can change quickly. See our full roundup of all other interesting discounts on Black Friday.

arn

Add to cart - will be 1034 at check out. There tricky :)

MacBook Pro 13 - is 1034 - I didnt mention that in 1st post.

Shows $1034 for me too in NY viewing on my iPhone5.

I also hear they price differently based on browser too.

Just missed it for the cheaper price, I'll look through out the rest of the day if it goes down again.

Question, If we purchased it through amazon and want to buy the applecare though apple with the education discount, would we be able to? It's going to be for our son and it would be nice to save $50+ dollars for the applecare.

I purchased yesterday for $1034 & called and got credit for the $962 price earlier today. Can't believe it dropped sub-$1000

I was lucky enough to catch the 962 price earlier today.

I was comparison shopping for this model. The price was bouncing around and at one point indicated that Amazon was out of this model. Strange.

Amazon Changing Prices

I picked up an XBOX bundle from Amazon this morning for $199. By early afternoon it was $249. Later in the afternoon, it was on a lightning deal for $219. :eek:

I added the MBP 13 to my cart yesterday at $1038 and went to buy it today and it had dropped to $964. I couldnt check out fast enough. Score!

return it :)

lol - just changed to 1034

Best Buy (in store and online) have the $1199 model for $175 off through tomorrow. Picked up one today (actually returned the 11" 4/128 I bought from them on Wednesday for $1056 but haven't opened yet and got the 13" and $21 back)

Amazon has been the best place to get MacBook Pros so far. I ordered the 2012 13" for $962 and two Retina MacBook Pros (2.6GHz/8GB/512GB) for $2150 each, which is awesome because that's $700 off each one! In total I saved around $2000 when you factor in tax and shipping.

Apple's discounts are like starting haggling at 70% off and settling for 70p off because you still feel you got a good deal...

... By saving 70p..
