I can only speak for DaisyDisk, it's a great app for finding large unnecessary files you want to delete -- wayyy better than Apple's built in storage optimizer app.
Apple has the Terminal with commands like "du" built in, you can do a lot with that.

The timeline app seems cool for writers of complex novels. In general i don’t think there is any app that is truly something essential though.

The 75$ is apparently without VAT.

Remember back in the day there were two other sites like this (but better). Something... vault?
MacHeist used to refer to their software section as the vault I believe. And they did these kind of bundles for a short while. And then there's of course Humble Bundle, but it is dependent on the individual bundle if it is worth it to Mac users.

I used Aeon Timeline 2, and I found it to be better than any other timeline software out there. I refuse to upgrade to the third version, however, because of the new licensing terms. The bundle calls this a "perpetual license," but you only get one year's worth of upgrades and updates; going beyond that requires a subscription, $35/year. I would not even mind paying $35/year as standalone purchases—that's cheaper than a date—but I abhor subscriptions and automatically recurring payments of any sort.

it's a tool for working on plain texts, for example using GREP, deleting duplicate lines, removing extra spaces, etc. You can think of it as a robust text editor for leaving text usable for publishing and ready to be used in other software like InDesign or Word, Excel
Anything that Emacs can't do?

**Alert**
I just bought this "bundle" and half of the products won't activate. I'm trying to get my money back but FastSpring's account page has no links... it's an absolute black hole once you spend the money.

I hate to say this, but I would probably avoid this deal. Not the apps, but FastSpring. I would guess the portal they use to talk to the multiple software developers is broken, which is why they get paid but my activation codes don't work.

Don't worry, all the issued licenses are valid.

Like BBEdit? A fine text editor that can cope with multi-GB files.

Always wanted to find a tool that would search for specific strings and be able to "search around" that point, say within 100 lines above & below. Typical logfile parsing.

I already have few of the apps, the only one I bought is TextSniper from the developer website

My bad that I didn't check the system requirements: it will not work on Mojave.
The price shows US $ but actually is in Euros and doesn't match the price but it is a little more + the exchange rate
Not a big deal, but I like to know what I'm paying and not to have surprises.

These are all great apps
BetterZip 5
DaisyDisk
Path Finder
Default Folder X

Default Folder has been around for at least twenty years. If you use your Mac for more than watching video I find it essential. Many feel Apple should have bought it years ago. It really is the first thing I put on a new Mac.

I agree. It is what OS X file dialogue / menu item should be.

Sounds like you can do all these things with terminal commands and then you don't need to install anything. If for instance daisydisk just tells you size of folders you can do that in the terminal.

Sure you can do a lot of this in terminal, but most people don't want to have to fire up Terminal and enter a bunch of commands just to see what files are in a folder nested 10 deep and then delete some.

I've sent you an email asking for a refund (wrong debit card used). I hope to get an answer soon before this offer expires.

Thank you

What's the command you use?
Check online, ususally it's very easy to find, but for example to show all folder sizes and sort by size:

find . -maxdepth 1 -mindepth 1 -type d -exec du -hs {} \;

Obviously you run this in the root folder you want to analyse. Can be your main drive, but will take some time. Play around with the maxdepth and mindepth to get what you want.
But you get the gist. You can find commands to do loads of things with files and folders, it's a matter of googling only, and doesn't require installing or paying for any extra software.

All of these apps are also available through Setapp, just for anyone who is thinking of getting a subscription. I already use Path Finder and Betterzip through it, but got to know about more useful apps through this thread.
I noticed Text Sniper's website mentioned it, and as I was looking at Text Sniper in Setapp it suggested BetterZip and Path Finder, so clearly other people have been looking at the same group of apps. Lol.

But yeah, that's actually really neat. Going to give a bunch of them a try and if I like them, support the developers further with a full license purchase.

"Worth a total value of $350.00."

Lol. Sure. Do people fall for this silly marketing?
How is it "silly marketing" to list the combined price of all the apps? Like unless you have a discount code for one or more of those apps independently, that is what you'd pay by buying them all separately.
