Black Friday/Apple TV deals???

Hey guys,

Was wondering, has retail stores totally left out deals on Apple TV (4th generation or 4K for that matter?) It seems everyone is all focused on phones, tablets and laptops when it comes to Apple but they totally left out Apple TV deals. I was waiting to buy a second one for my bedroom assuming there would be a sale (at least on the 4th generation model) but I'm not finding squat online!

Anyone know?

I'm assuming Apple themselves are having no sales?

Well, not exactly a BF sale on the AppleTV. But, DirecTV is offering a "free" AppleTV 4k is you sign up and pre-pay for 4 months of DirecTV Now. Their lowest tier is $35/mo, so $140 total. You can cancel anytime (of course, wait until you get the AppleTV). Delivery on the AppleTV is said to be about 3 weeks, so if it is a Christmas gift you "should" be OK.

That $140 was total for me here in NY, no additional tax. Not sure if other states would charge tax (I am looking at you, California).

So really, that is a pretty darned good deal.

I'm sure they'll show up. Just be patient. Not all black Friday sales have to be leaked well before the actual day. I suspect Apple themselves will do something too.

If not, a little more patience and they'll probably be showing up in the refurb store soon.

You and me both! I'm wanting to do the same thing as you, put a ATV 4th gen in the bedroom, as the TV in there is only a 1080p model. I thought for sure there would be some deals on the older 4th gen and I've been looking just about every day and like you, haven't seen anything.

I am going to visit my local Apple store and see if they have a hidden ATV sale. $25 off or more on the 64GB would be a buy for me.

For some unknown reason the Apple Store is down. Perhaps an Apple TV deal is in the works . . . wishful thinking on my part. In any case it looks as if they're getting ready for Black Friday; just my guess.

Good luck with that. I just went online at the Apple Store and saw that the 64 gb model is showing shipping dates in January, 2018. This particular model is also hard to find at other retailers. I've seen the 32 gb model but not the 64.
I just placed an order for one (at one of two retailers that show it in stock).
