Dang. $300 off is the best I’ve seen recently on the 12.9 / 1tb / cellular. They don’t have space gray on sale in this model, but can I really be that picky at this price?

Edit: nevermind. Amazon has the silver 12.9 1tb cellular for $450 off

Edit 2: annnd a couple hours later its gone off Amazon. I kinda suspect this was a pricing error... it was the same price as the WiFi-only model. I missed out. Probably wouldn’t have hesitated if it had been the Space Gray model on sale.

Ive been debating with a new MBP or Air to replace my 14 MBP for consumption and just around the house/travel use, or an IPad Pro, and have asked myself the same thing. I think if its a 3rd gen Butterfly Keyboard id feel okay buying it (not the ideal typing experience, but at least its gone through several revisions)...

Still thinking an IPP 11in may be the better device in my case though. 2014 MBP will stick around for any true computing needs.

i bought a 11pro couple weeks ago for consumption only. It doesn't really replace a laptop, and even if you got the 12.9 its not quite the same experience just yet (even with iPadOS closing the gap).

I bought an 11 iPad Pro from Best Buy two weeks ago for $749, which was a great price, but now I see today I could get it for $725 including the student deal. The problem is it won't show the offer or let me add it, I assume because it knows I bought one two weeks ago? I called Best Buy and asked them to price match but the guy acted like he had no idea what I was talking about and didn't see a student deal for $50 off the discount price of $774. Anyone have any ideas?

I am already a BB member and have student deals added to my account. Why won't they price match this?

I bit. I have started messing around with 4K video editing and bought what I thought was a reasonable Windows Notebook to do it as I am not buying the current gen Macbook Pros. Well it struggled and some youtubing shows the iPad Pro's do it very well. As this is strictly home video stuff and not professional work Lumafusion will do what I need. Combined with iOS 13 I should be good to go. Idea is to use it as my main machine as both my 2013 MBP and iPad Air 2 needed replaced. Picked up a 12.9" iPad Pro for $1099, could pass up that deal. Also got the refurb pencil 2 for $89 and will top it off with the logitech keyboard case. iPad is currently at the house waiting for me to get home, extremely excited.

I bought 2 11” iPad Pro’s 64 GB WiFi Only 2 weeks ago from BB. I paid $674 each. I could have returned them and repurchased but I was afraid of getting a less than perfect unit. That being said, I could have bought one for $599 and the second one for $649. BB will only offer the education discount on one unit and despite all their price match rhetoric, they REFUSED to price match for me. They were willing to give me the difference in price, $50 but refused the education discount, saying it had to be on a new order only. My Citi Double Cash Card has price rewind which refunds the difference. So I added everything to my cart, took a screen shot and submitted it to Citi Card. Waiting on my $100 refund.

Is that $599 deal at BB still available? I’m not seeing it and I’m an Elite member. I’m most interested in the cellular 64GB model.

I don't think Cellular was ever that cheap. The 11" 64gb Wifi only model could be had for $599-- sale was for $649 and then you could do the additional $50 student discount.

But no-- not on sale anymore @ Best Buy. It was their "Black Friday in July" sale that was just Friday and Saturday.
