One of the Black Friday ad sites posted that Best Buy will have the Apple Watch Series 5 for up to $250.00 off if your looking for an Apple Watch.

As a Best Buy store manager please believe us when we tell you these are the same sales we will have that weekend and to NOT SHOP ON BLACK FRIDAY. We will be dealing with massive crowds while understaffed. Doorbusters will all be online and there will be zero reason to go into a store. None of us wanted to open at 5am but that is what we get for closing on Thanksgiving. Please shop early and help lessen the crowds!

Thank you - I am glad to hear that Best Buy is doing this to try and keep their employees safe. I usually end up at the store for the couple movies that aren't online but not this year.

Best Buy is requiring all employees and customers to wear face coverings if they plan to shop in stores on Black Friday (and in general). There will be a limit to the number of people within each location

So I just happened to be in a Best Buy today and was rather unimpressed and shocked actually by their covid measures. First, yeah there is a limit on the people in store. The sign on my store said 500. 500?! How is THAT safe? Maybe I misread the sign but I don’t think so.

So I am in there buying something and trying to not touch things and do contactless payments with Apple Pay. First the guy wants to grab my item to scan it...no thanks just aim the gun at it, it has a long cord. Then he wants me to press a button verifying my rewards info like name and address is correct. Then they want me to press another button to donate to some cause that I didn’t even read. Then after being annoyed by that, I take out my phone and pay, only to be asked to touch the keypad thing yet again and enter a pin. What the hell? I am trying to NOT touch things you nitwits. They act like covid is not a thing. “Here’s some hand sanitizer” was their response. And the bottle was virtually empty with almost nothing squirting on my hands. Great. Just great guys. You’re really taking this seriously I can see. 🙄

Highly likely that $150 only applies to the most expensive model and prob $50-75 for the lowest model.
