Its not that bad, its slow I would say. I thought chemistry would be like..."Now what happens when we mix Potassium-Nitrate and Sulfur with some charcoal?"
Maybe 150 years ago, now chemistry is about avoiding it

hah your mac book is emo and crying, good job
Hi,
Guys this is not the LCD, it's a coolant leaking from the mac, turns out it's not so rare, after i first touched the liquid (by mistake), i thought it was oil.
This is a very weird case.

howstuffworks.com said:So, do liquid crystals act like solids or liquids or something else? It turns out that liquid crystals are closer to a liquid state than a solid. It takes a fair amount of heat to change a suitable substance from a solid into a liquid crystal, and it only takes a little more heat to turn that same liquid crystal into a real liquid. This explains why liquid crystals are very sensitive to temperature and why they are used to make thermometers and mood rings. It also explains why a laptop computer display may act funny in cold weather or during a hot day at the beach.
No. CCFL's use a minimal amount of mercury and mercury is metallic coloured.

Water's broken! new baby ipods on the way!
What the hell is going on?!?
For the last 2 days my Macbook has been leaking a transparent liquid, slightly viscous. At first I thought it was water from a table but I found it again today on my desk AND in the carry case???? It seems to be coming from the battery compartment but when I opened it up everything seemed fine?
I never knew there was even fluid in computers?? Any thoughts on what this could be? Obviously I will be taking in to the Apple store but hopefully someone can explain this?
I will be posting pics as soon as I get my hands on a camera.
Thanks in advance.
