i really love the look of the black macbook, but prefer the size and power of the pro. who would like to see a black macbook pro as an option to the aluminum.

they may also just make a 15" black macbook

black plastic or metal? i reckon a black metal MacBook Pro (similar colour to the back of the U2 iPod, but brushed) would look really good. but black plastic... nah...

Having owned a couple of gadgets (mobile, cybershot camera) which are black anodised aluminium, I'd have to say no - the blacks show scratches far more visibly that the plain aluminium kind. It would look great (as an option alongside the al's) but I'd be more worried about scratches than I am with my al MBP - and thats got a Speck SeeThru case and a Marware wristrest cover...
