Black Magic speed test ?

So I downloaded the app
selected the tool-button
targeted the "House-2012mini" under the downloads and opened it
started test
it goes through the cycle write/read

1-How many times do i let it go through the cycle?
2- how do i get it to stop so i get both sides at the max numbers? so i can copy it?
3-how come the dang thing doesnt stop itself?
4-the longer it runs it seems my write speed goes way down

ok ive got my crayons out and awaiting speed test 101 class

Click the "START" to stop it.
Click the gear icon to save a screen image.

Black Magic is kind of limited in that there is no way to have it keep a history of minimums and maximums. You just have to be lucky and hit the Start button when you think it's there. You may want to try AmorphousDiskMark on the Mac App Store. It's a free Mac version of CrystalDiskMark which is used a lot on the PC side.
