Black or White?

Which colour are you thinking of for your iPad 3?

Had White iPad 2 and iPhone 4, have White iPhone 4S, might go for Black iPad 3 this time. Just to switch it up. 😀
 
Tough call! Black seems to be better for watching videos because it blends into the aspect ratio black bars and it's less obtrusive. White seems to be better for reading and browsing because it blends into the white background behind the text and it makes the screen feel more spacious (at least for me).

I'm probably going to use my ipad for browsing more than video, so I'll probably go with white. And for some reason, the black border makes the screen feel more cramped and restrictive in general usage...but that could just be me.

I've been spending a lot of time playing with demo's of both and trying to pick the best color for everyday usage...but bottom line is, I wouldn't complain with either 🙂

Well, I was originally going to go with white to match my white iPhone, but I think that a black tablet is the way to go. I've never owned an iPad though...so we'll see. I'll probably prefer the black one though. My white iPhone 4 even has a huge black Mophie battery pack so it's black too kind of...
 
White. I have the iPad 1 which is de-facto black, got hosed with the iPhone 4 since White wasn't available at launch. My first iPod video was Black as well. Apple be damned if I can't get a White iDevice this go-round.
 
I can't decide so I'm going to close my eyes when I click to order online. Hopefully I don't pick the 64GB 3G model.
 
My next iPad and iPhone purchases will be black mos def. I'm considering waiting till the new iPhone drops so I can purchase both the new iPad and iPhone in black.
 
I went (obviously) black for iPad 1
White for iPad 2
I believe I will be going "back to black" so to speak for iPad 3

Only to keep things fresh and mix it up. I currently have a White iPhone 4S. Before that I had a black iPhone 3G, iPhone 3GS, and iPhone 4.

This. And also, I think the white looks kind of cheap. Not made cheap, but cheap looking.
 
Black. Always black for me. White bezels makes my eyes wonder off the screen where black frames it up nicely. Also I think black gives an optical illusion of deeper colors.
 
I currently have a white 4S and a white iPad 2. IF I were to purchase the next generation iPad, it would be white.
 
I really liked my white iPad 2 - the white was never distracting and I thought it looked great. Didn't show fingerprints around the edges at all. When I see black ones they look toyish to me for whatever reason.

I'm sure some people think that about the white ones though.

I'll go white again
