Black Screen and Apple logo freeze

Hi. I have a Iphone 2g with the OS 3.0.
Everytime I install an app that requires a reboot(winterboard, etc..), the Iphone freezes in the black screen with the apple. I'm tired of restoring it.. can anyone help me?

Is it an app from Cydia?
Maybe its the particular app that causes problems or winterboard.

Did you also install Icy?

No, I just installed cydia. And it happens with various apps, not just winterboard..
