I have a 2008 15" macbook pro and am currently experiencing the "black screen of death". I have been using my imac to "share a screen" with my macbook. If i can see the screen and run the macbook from my imac, is that still a problem with the bad nvidia graphics card or can i somehow fix my macbook remotely from my imac?

When my 8600GT went out with a Black screen it was out entirely meaning no external or internet output.
