Ok I caved in and ordered the Belkin Ultra High Speed 4K HDMI Cable from the Apple Store for my ATV 4K. I have been using a WalMart cable ( https://www.walmart.com/ip/Blackweb-4K-HDMI-Cable-4-Feet/55455425 ) and about every other day the screen goes black and says there is no signal coming from the ATV. To get it back working I have to unplug/plug the power chord of the ATV. I'm guessing it's the cable. If this does not solve the problem, I'm taking the ATV back.

Anyone else have this problem?

What tv do you have?

LG OLED55B7A

That's a beautiful TV - it deserves the best! I've just ordered the ATV4K 64GB today and immediately ordered the Apple recommended Belkin HDMI. Always had the Apple HDMI leads with my ATV2,3 and 4 over the years. Great quality and design! My view on life - if it's product, then you get what you pay for!

Ok the Belkin Ultra High Speed 4K HDMI Cable just arrived. So far no blacking out but it's too early to tell. But what I can say is, the picture is a little better. You are right, this is a beautiful TV and I didn't think the picture could improve. The cable I was using provided a great picture but the Belkin Ultra High Speed 4K HDMI Cable is delivering a slightly better picture.

whew, you got the Belkin cable. If you have any problems now, you can exclude any cable issues.
those LG OLED tv's are a wowser.
from what I've read, the Apple TV only does 10 bit HDR using HDR@60Hz.
I guess the next update will have auto switching.
