Black Screen: There is no disk to boot Message

Well, after my old XP disk failed to install successfully via bootcamp, I went back into OS X and re partitioned my drive as one. Worked fine. After shutting down and turning back on, I get a black screen that says something along the lines of There is no disk to boot, insert bootable disk. I reboot, hold option and get the disk selection screen, OS X is the only option and I click it and now I'm back in OS X.

Should I be worried?

p.s. im going to go buy apple care this week i think
