I've had boot camp and windows on my imac for a few months now, and haven't had any problems.
Well today I read on another web site a way to increase fps in counter strike by over clocking your video card. Now, I had already over clocked it, but I had been using a program that didn't work. (ati tray tools) So I follow this guy's instructions about getting the latest drivers, and so I downloaded them. Well the drivers instruct me to remove all other ati programs on my computer, so I did that using the remove program thing. Well the drivers did not work, even after I uninstalled my other ones. So when I re-booted it, I had a crappy display, which was all messed up. The text was blurry, and when I scrolled through web pages, they were all choppy and messed up. Counter Strike source did not even boot up. Angered by this, I decided to try and get my old ones back. (the ones with the basic control center) Well I downloaded some catalystic ones, and they downloaded and installed fine. Than I was prompted to re-boot, and I did that. But, when I booted into windows, I got a black screen. I could still hear it logging in and such, but I could not see anything. This was after the loading screen of windows.
So what should I do? I am thinking about taking windows off, but how can I do that? Will my cd-key for windows still work? Please help.
