Black screen

Hi, My iphone 7 keeps going to a black screen with a spinning wheel every time I try and do something it then asks for my password. This has just started today I just installed the latests update and its worse than before now. Any ideas or tricks on how to fix this issue?

Have you tried restarting it? What about resetting all settings? Perhaps you might need to even reinstall if none of those work. Sounds like something odd happened with the latest update install.

turn off the time auto setting, and set the date of your iPhone back to Nov. It will fix it temporarily.

I haven't tried that was worried Id loose everything on my phone
