Hard pass for me... what would be the reasoning to purchase it? @Bkdodger ... now the Power Keyboard device is something I'm interested in.

MrMobile did a lil preview of the Power Keyboard... but was only a small snippet of him using it on a foldable, maybe when it launches he will do a deep dive.

Lowkey don’t really need it when I have a BOW foldable keyboard specifically for the Galaxy Fold that I barely use.

I think it could be a good device for those that want to disconnect a little bit just more communication mainly you can just swap out the phone and go, or if you're carrying a second line. I did see that small preview of the keyboard though I don't really have a use for that either.

That things DOA if you ask me.

It's been done before and hasn't stood the test of time. Only a handful of people may buy it but for nostalgic reeaons.

After years of practice I'm pretty sure I can type faster on a screen.

Definitely nostalgic for sure and will probably sell more than expected bc of it

For me, it looks promising. It's not a Blackberry Classic (beautiful design) but that physical keyboard look fine and I like the factor.

Let's see how it goes. Maybe a second generation will be the moment for me

Dont forget the Unihertz Titan 2

I have to check this one out as I'm not familiar

Unihertz has been trying to make keyboards on phones have a comeback for a few years now.

The Titan 2 is BlackBerry Passport size and their newest offering. I followed it closely during the Kickstarter. Lots of videos on YouTube. People seem to like them. I held off because it is a beefy device for the small size (235g), but maybe the shape makes that a non-issue, since it is a two-handed phone by design.

The Titan Slim is the BlackBerry KeyOne equivalent. I never really liked that form factor, but it is a more common screen aspect ratio.

The original Titan and Titan Pocket are more like the BlackBerry Bold.

Go through all this trouble to design and manufacture a device where having a physical keyboard is the main selling point, but then you only use a four row keyboard??? Ooookay.

Are you talking about a number row or a space bar row?

The Passport was three rows with the space bar in the middle because it was wider than the older BlackBerries. It definitely messed with my muscle memory and I was a much slower typist on a Passport.

All the other BlackBerries put the space bar on its own fourth row with some nav buttons. That's my personal preference.

I don't remember any BlackBerry having a dedicated number row though.

its four rows total. the bare minimum you can make a (sane) keyboard with, which is why you had trouble on the Passport.

the point being that this is not enough buttons for a device whose selling point is physical buttons. who wants to shift-press for tons of common keys?? may as well use the touchscreen.

I'll wait for reviews before deciding to spend any money. Not in this economy. I would love to experience the Blackberry again but I don't have extra cash to find out if I would switch.

I tried the Clicks case on my iPhone for a few weeks but returned it due to the cramp feeling of holding and typing in my hands. I'm not young anymore like when I used Blackberries. 🤣

I'm tempted by the Clicks Communicator, but there are a couple things in the proposed specs that raise an eyebrow and until I see a working model, I am not preordering.

Qi2, but it has swappable backplates? Are they magnetic or do the snap into place?
SiC 4000 mAh battery. Why? This is the first time I have heard of a silicon carbide battery under 6k. Why not just go with the proven Li-ion?

What I like: Niagra launcher, 6 oz weight, notification LED, microSD slot, 3.5mm headphone jack, and the keyboard, of course.
