Blackbook CD for $999?

Are you looking at refurbs, new, core duo or c2d?

Nice pictures! Those make my decision that much harder. I like the looks of black, but then there's classic white with a $100 savings....

I'm looking for at the Core Duo's - originally refurbished, but then I saw that CompUSA had a 2.0GHz White for $900, which is the same price as a refurb model. So a new white for $900 or refurb black for $1000

of course, if you get an apple refurb, you have a chance at getting those "secret" upgrades

Well, basically the black gives you a 20gb bigger hard drive. Nothing else except its black. If they had had the white 2.0 cheaper than the black I would have taken it but they didn't. The black is growing on me thought. I like it.

Now the dilema:

Is the refurb white Core 2 Duo worth the extra $200?

Double the memory (1GB)
20GB more HDD (80GB)


The C2D is Priced at $1,099
I can get a new CD mid-white for $899
