BlackBook on Price Is Right

Today on the Price is Right Salutes the Troops special one of the gifts won was a "webcam laptop", which was the outdated black MacBook. Strange that they'd give away an old product, but at least it's :apple:. Never seen an Apple product given away on any show before.

On days off I watch it and I see Apple stuff on there all the time.
 
This is the first time I've watched it in a long time...probably the second time under Drew Carey.

Why strange? The show is outdated and Drew Carey was outdated 10 years ago.
 
i saw this today....was the retail price of the blackbook ever $1499 like they said it was?? I thought it was more like $1199...i would have lost.

EDIT: I just realized this was a really old thread...well they had the blackbook again today 7/3/09 and said the retail was $1499.
