I bought a BlackBook less than a year ago (July 2007) and for a couple weeks now it will restart when I close the lid. It doesn't restart every time, just sometimes. Now, I would just go to the Apple Store and have them look at it, but the closest one is an 1.5 away. Anything else I can do besides going to the Apple Store?

Have you tried the usual reset of the PMU and PRAM?

Check your RAM. This seems to be a common problem. Mine did this too due to an incorrectly seated RAM chip.

Same thing

Having the same trouble with a white MacBook, which is just over a year old. Did any of these suggestions work?
