blackbook without a screen? (pics+new Q)

It reminds me of the good old days with my Amiga 1200. Just a massive keyboard with a computer inside.


Thinking about it, this would be the perfect mod for me right now, I bought a macbook sometime ago but it never leaves my desk anymore. Strip off the screen and use the built in keyboard instead of running clamshell.

I'll have to look into this.

p.s I just did 'mirror displays' and that made the spaces go to 4 screens again, can someone tell me what mirror actually does?

disabling internal screen

I am surprised that nobody suggested the correct answer here..
I use to use the very same blackbook, lid closed, plugged to a TV, and I had the same need..

So :

1 - turn the computer off
2 - push the power button once and put your magnet in place within the 3 to 5 next seconds (the lid needs to be closed on the grey screen, before the computer actually starts to boot from the hdd)
