yeah also odd to think that my 2.4 white macbook is "discontinued" but they are selling the 2.1 lower-end model.. I hope my resell value for my 2.4 is still good

Also consider that Colorware will paint and anodize these things any color under the sun for a few hundred bucks...so those with the means can have black aluminum Macbooks any day.

I got tired of waiting for the Aluminum, so I got a black one for $1049 and upgraded it.

I think I'd be a lot more disappointed if I purchased a white one. I like the black and am happy with what I use it for.

And I have Firewire... 😱

so Colorware can paint the anodised aluminium? that would look awesome with the black bezel! hmmm… [ponders]
