I recently tried out a Safari ad blocker for the first time (adamant) and am impressed with how much it speeds up browsing. However, I'm not comfortable with blocking ads (and hence potential revenue) from sites that don't go over the top with advertising. On the other hand, I don't want to go through the hassle of setting up a white list of sites to let through an ad-blocker (assuming there are ad blockers that provide such a feature). What I'd like is to have an ad-blocker initially assume I am happy to view ads on all sites. When I encounter a site with what I consider to be too-obtrusive advertising I want to be able to report that site to the ad blocker (e.g. with a share action) which will then block ads on that site on all future visits. Are there ad-blockers that function like this or in a similar way? So I suppose what I'm asking is are there ad-blockers that operate on a blacklist, rather than whitelist or all-or-nothing basis? But also, an easier way of black-listing sites than typing into a settings screen would be appreciated.
