I just browsed the "Top Single-Core CPU Results" in Geekbench Browser and it looks like the BLACKSHARK SHARK KSR-A0 (whatever it is) is as fast as the 2021 iPad Pro. Seems a little odd to me. 🤨

How such a high score?

Is it a tablet like the iPad Pro?

A quick search turned out that that’s a dedicated gaming Android phone with what the manufacturer calls liquid cooling.

It’s a fake result uploaded by a hacker. Security isn’t great on Geekbench uploads as there are quite a few fake results online.

What should be trusted then?
Common sense sometimes applies. The CPU is 1.8 GHz. Do you really think that is going to beat a 3.2 GHz M1?

Edit: I should do more research before posting. Sorry, the 1.8 GHz is a bug in Geekbench. The top speed Cortex X1 core is 2.84 GHz and it has 3 Cortex A78 cores at 2.42 GHz. The 1.8 GHz is for the 4 Cortex A55 efficiency cores. That is going to be a fast phone but whether or not it beats an M1 in Geekbench 5 is still debatable.

In other news, a 1999 Honda motorcycle does 0-60 faster than a 2021 Range Rover.

I’ll take the Range Rover.
