Blank downloads folder! Please help!

In the past, when I downloaded a file, a little downloads page popped up listing things that I downloaded etc. Now, no matter what I download, its always blank.

You’re probably in Private Browsing Mode, which doesn’t save Download History.
Go to Safari in the menu bar and see.

checked, im not on private browsing for both firefox and safari =/

Your preferences should look like this then

Specifically the “Save Downloaded Files to... Downloads”

And “Remove Download List Items... Manually"
